/sAll get this and reset everything (blank message turn scroller off)

/som, owners and mod message

Suggest if not message set shows next lowest rank message

Have you guys given thought to how you would keep track of these if you were to set a different one for each rank?

How would it display to the owner(s) that are actually writing it? How would they know what ones are set?

I would think one way to do it is by making a code to where the system tells you the scroll message. You'd do the code followed by 'r' eg. (/smr) and the system would shoot out what the current scroll message is for mods and if nothing is set it would also let you know. Even a system like this seems a bit messy if I am being honest. But I'm intrigued on how you guys will differentiate the messages or how they would be displayed to those writing it.

Could also make a scroller for main owners:

/sa message

If you want to set a scroller for mods and members, allowing the combination for a specific group of ranks, always in order. (a = main owner, o = owner, m = moderator, b = member and g = guest), e.g.

/smb message

If you want to set the same scroller for everyone, you can use:

/s message

And if you want to turn it off:

/sr or just /s blank

Preferably there should also be an option to see what message is currently active for each rank - I just think that people might forget or want to see what's currently set. Maybe something like $= (which shows all macros), but for scrolls instead, e.g. /scrollinfo.

I also think that the rank based scrolls should have priority over /s, so it doesn't end up with people using /s and removing all the rank based scrolls.

And in order to erase a rank based scroll, you'd just use:

/so /sm /sb /sg - without any messages.

Removing rank based chat scroll should show up /smessage, if there is one.

I don't think this is necessary.

If you type (for example) => /so,Hello world; it will display "oHello world" instead of "Hello world". (not sure if done by purpose)

It's deliberate, may not be right but helps testing

Was hoping for more feedback

Need to add a dump of the scroll messages
(I assume only owners can see owner message)

Main concern is that a mod sets a rude scroll an owner won't see it.

Should owners see all the scrolls joined into one ?

When a main owner / owner sign in on the chat it could show automatically the scrolls set for all the ranks.

Ok I have added that. Please try it out.

Is events working ?

Update /i command to display the various scroll messages alongside with the ID of the user who set it. Fixing the "Set Scroll" filter in Events would be great as well.

Nope. It has been broken for a while.

@Admin

I don't know if it's an issue but :

From member to guest, it will still show the scroll for members/guests instead of the guest one only.

Same from guest to member, you will see only the guest scroll instead of member + guest.

Kinda annoying because you need to refresh each time you get a new rank..

And can you remove "1" from "id2" on events when id2 is empty like for setScroller etc?

Next version up, requires 487 to be assigned (group power)

You made it as a power ? (d)

Edit:

- Events still showing id 1 when empty (for set scroller etc) :(

And I can't test the other issue because it needs to be assigned and I can't assign when it's not named.
