xat ID REVIVE

Question

hi guys i was wandering if i can get my old xat account back but heres the thing, i dont remember the username nore the password, but! I remember the ID . 

So .. is it possible to revivie it back or it might be even deleted cause of no use for years ?

Hey,

 

Here are a few options:

 

If you still have access to the email:

Login to an alternate account. Use the xat login page and select the "Lost password/username" tab. Enter the email associated to your account and you will be emailed instructions to reset your password to login. The email should also mention your account username. 

 

If you forget the email/don't have access to it:

Login to an alternate account. Open a ticket on the alternate account under the Lost Access help topic. Specify the account username/ID you are attempting to recover. You will be asked questions to prove you are the real owner of the account.

 

For information about creating an alternate account, read this. To figure out the registered username associated to the ID, go to a chat with a fexbot and type !reg IDhere. Please note that the Lost Access help topic does have a slight response delay time at the moment.

 

Accounts are not deleted if they are inactive.

Good evening,

 

If you desire to get your username, you can type on your browser https://xat.me/xat?id=IDHERE to see it. If you have access to the e-mail, you can go to the lostpass tool and recover your password, try attempting every e-mail you remember on the lostpass tool to try recover it. If, unfortunately, after all attempts you don't remember the e-mail and the password, you'll need a ticket under the "Lost Access" department.

 

For that, you'll need a alternative account to create the ticket.

 

If you didn't have create it yet, after successfully logged in on your alternative account, do the steps below:
- Open a new ticket here;
- Type your username and password;
- Type the e-mail associated with the alternative account;
- Select the help topic "Lost Access";
- Type the subject, remember it has to be at least 5 words;
- Type the message describing your issue;
- And click on open ticket.

 

If even after that you still unable to create the ticket, you'll have to send a private message to a volunteer on the forums including the following information:


-Username and ID of the alternative account;
-Reason for needing a ticket. (In this case "Lost Access")

 

Then you just have to wait for an answer from the volunteers.

Or you can contact them directly via chat, they usually can be found on Help or xat_test.
