Yeah having to set different sounds to each of your good friends would be easier using a macro and a lot of users would want it. Should the macro be set like this /S#audiesound#ID (/S#giddy#123456) ? Another question when adding a good friend... Is it possible to add a good friend by using their registered name? Is it possible to add a good friend by using their registered name? Paul asked the same about, and at the moment it's not possible. (Only by the ID; if you meant with the /F and /S cmd.) But .. pretty sure it can be done in the future or maybe later. 15 minutes ago, 6 said: Should the macro be set like this /S#audiesound#ID (/S#giddy#123456) ? By macros, he meant $goodfriend=SOUNDHERE (goodfriend is an example) but by using your idea and the mark one, it will be better like : $goodfriend=110110#giddy,42#laserfire3 etc...

Would be great if you could have your own from a sound file. Or a youtube link.

You'll have unadd the user manually and re-add your friend again since there's no command to remove your good friend.
Advanced Members LaFleur Posted January 27, 2018 Author Advanced Members Share Posted January 27, 2018 An update has been added. You can now use audies for goodfriend sounds: https://xat.com/audies Please note this only works if you added goodfriends with sound using /S. Please also clear cache (version number has to be 27012018). Usage: - $gf=#sound (e.g. $gf=giddy) - this changes default sound to giddy for all good friends with sound. - $gf=ID#sound (e.g. $gf=517650537#giddy) - this changes sound for user 517650537 with giddy and keeps default sound. Or a combination.. - $gf=#screamman,517650537#giddy - this changes default sound to screamman and adds sound for user 517650537 with giddy. To add multiple users, simply repeat like: $gf=#screamman,517650537#giddy,225248065#ohh for example. Have fun! : p 4

Saying the macro "$gf" followed by an audie from xat.com/audies will change the default goodfriend notification sound to whatever you choose. It's currently sent to the default chat noise. $gf=#clockchime1 - Causes the default goodfriend notification sound to be the audie "clockchime1" Saying the macro "$gf=ID" followed by an audie from xat.com/audies will change the goodfriend notification sound for whatever you choose for that certain ID. All other goodfriends will remain the default chat noise. $gf=18500000#platebreak - Causes the goodfriend notification sound for ID 18500000 to be set to platebreak. Any other goodfriend will still be the default chat noise Saying the macro "$gf=audie,ID,#audie: The bolded portion of this macro allows you to set the default notification noise for every goodfriend you have. The underlined and bolded part of this macro allows you to set a different notification noise for a certain ID. $gf=#raspberry,18500000#colt45 - Causes the default goodfriend notification sound to be the audie "raspberry." Causes the goodfriend notification sound for ID 18500000 to be set to colt45.
Advanced Members oj Posted January 29, 2018 Advanced Members Share Posted January 29, 2018 (edited) #stop making everything a macro 2018 Friends are already saved in sol, just use that instead of having to re-do the whole macro every time you want to change something /Sid#audie (/S638877683#screamman) Better yet why even have a different command for sound, just /Fid#audie Edited January 29, 2018 by oj 1

Most things we use macros for can be easily placed in an options menu. It's time to stop being so complicated and go to a user friendly environment.
