      Ask a volunteer on chat, or through the forum private message to open a ticket for you. Alternatively, you will need to create a new xat account and open a ticket. No further action should be necessary. If you are still having trouble, open a ticket. 7-14 day hold: after getting your account unlocked: No action is required. The hold cannot be reduced or removed. Transfer held for funds to clear (could be any amount of days): Create a ticket and ask about your account hold. System problem 25 (permanent transfer block): This is usually a result of breaking xat's Term of Use, by either scamming or phishing users. Open a ticket to ask for more information about the hold. I am locked out! What do I do?

The subject should be at least five words. You may request for the reserve to be reduced, or you may ask for the amount of xats the reserve reduces by each day. How can I get a shortname unlocked if it is no longer being used?
      To request for a shortname to be unlocked, open a ticket. Select the Short names help topic. The subject should be at least five words. You must be a paid user in order to open a ticket for this. If you encounter **Sorry, name already taken (2).** the name can then be enabled by a volunteer. Why can I not create a new forum topic?
      You need to confirm your forum account through your email in order to open a new topic. Why can't I use a forum signature?
      If you want to use a forum signature, you need to be an Advanced Member. Entrance to this user group is automatic and is based on post count. The more active you are on the forum, the more abilities you will be granted! My xatspace was removed. What do I do?
      Your xatspace was likely removed due to breaking the Terms of Service or the xatspace guidelines. Open a ticket under Account Block to have this investigated. Ensure the subject in your ticket is atleast 5 words. My chat was deleted. What can I do?

Userlist not loading on all chats.

Question

Hi,

 

I'm having issues with the userlist not loading on all the chats I visit. Or sometimes the chat doesn't loading at all. Tried resigning in, clearing cache, etc,.,.

 

Google Chrome: 63.0.3239.108 (Official Build) (64-bit) ) (up to date)

Flash: 28.0.0.126 (also up to date)

OS: Linux

HTTPS wouldn't be considered a factor issue for this. However, I did try Linux out and the stated issue occurred twice on Chrome but not on Firefox. 

 

Firefox would be the best fitting browser for Linux users, so I'd recommend you try that out instead of Chrome.

 

This issue also occurs if you're using a bot client (tested this as well and has happened), if you have one of those bot clients, try turning it off and see what happens when you connect back on. 

 

Last thing I'd recommend for you is trying out xat's new HTML5 chat version. To access xat's HTML5 chat version add ?new at the end of the browser URL. Example: http://xat.com/help?new would be directed to Help's HTML5 chat version.

Try this:

Right click the xat box, click on settings (configurações in my language);

1. Click on the folder icon;

2. Click on Allow (permitir in my language);

3. Click on close (fechar in my language);

tzBIEln.png

Then close your browser and restart it, i hope it works.

Did you cleared your cache/cookies?

Did you was stuck on the "Please wait..." phrase? If so, click on the play button under that phrase.

Here are a few tips I can think of:

  • I see you're using Chrome. Have you tried a different browser? Your problem of not being able to see the userlist may be solved if you simply switch browsers
  • Clearing your cache/cookies is always a good thing to try if you're stuck. (As stif mentioned)
  • Click on this link to learn how to log out of xat. Once you log out, log back in. Make sure you click on the grey play button under the "Please wait..." on the login page.

I was using an extension for a bot client, removed it and it solved my issues. Thanks!
