lost auth code and cannot open ticket

xat will not let me open a ticket, somehow my xat account was removed from the google authenticator app and now i cannot login because i cannot get the code or re-scan the qr to get it back on the app

Currently, creating tickets while logged out has been disabled. This means you’ll be unable to open a ticket under Lost Auth , if you’re logged out.

 

Thus, I suggest that you Private Message a volunteer here on the forums. In your PM, include the following information:

1) ID

2) Registered Username

3) Reason for needing a Lost Auth ticket

 

The volunteer will be able to open a ticket for you!

Hello,

 

You can open a new ticket (xat.com/ticket) under Lost Auth department. You don't need to be a paid user to open a ticket under that department.

 

For example, you can put:

 

Subject: I can’t generate my access token

Message: Hi, I’m trying to login but I’m unable to because it’s asking for a token code that I don’t have. I don't have google authenticator app to generate the code so now I can’t generate the token. Please help me to reset it. Thank you.

 

If you still have problems opening a ticket, you can send a message to a volunteer

You need to open a ticket in the Help Topic ''Lost Auth''.

If you can't open a ticket, try to clear the cookies from your browser. If still can't open a ticket, i suggest you to talk directly to a Volunteer.

This issue has a marked response, I think it has been some time and there has been no response from the person who has the problem, it is better to close this topic.
