Lost account due to inactive email being removed from AOL servers

Question

  • Members

Hello, as the title says, due to being inactive with my email account on AOL it has been removed, thus removing my access to the xat account.

Tried opening a ticket about it however I keep getting "Unable to create a ticket. Please correct errors below and try again!"

Despite the fact that there are no errors to correct.

Tried incognito mode, tried clearing cookies, tried using a different browser, tried going through different "help topics" none work.

If you have lost access to your email address, you'll need to open a ticket to regain access to your account. You do not need to be a paid user to create this ticket so, in order to be able to open a ticket, you'll need to log into another account first.

If you do not have another account, please register a new one, you can follow these steps to reset your identification number. After these steps "Lost access" help topic should be selected in this case. Also, make sure your subject is at least five words, and specify that you need help with your other account and include as many details as possible.

You’ll need a “Lost Access” ticket for your issue. Read what Nixs has said and follow the steps that he has outlined. However, if that doesn’t work,  you can message a volunteer here on the forums. In your private message, include the following information:

1) Your ID

2) Your registered username

3) The reason you need a Lost Access ticket

They can open a ticket for you if you supply them enough information.

Hi,

Take a screenshot of your errors and send a private message to a volunteer (contact one here), requesting for a ticket to be opened.

Please provide your account regname and ID, the ticket department, and a brief summary of your problem within your message to them.

If you're lucky, a volunteer might reply here too. :$
