Excellent smilies, but I think the skin is too bright :$. Perhaps a slightly darker green would be better!

True, it was good but it could be better still if it darkened his skin tone.

Have a very Kawaii baby style.

The baby/kawaii dinos are cute, but I much prefer a serious dinosaur power - one where the smilies are powerfulfearsome and formidable to behold. 8-)

But each to their own!

But i think that must to change a little powers because a lot of powers is the same only another animals (smile, angryface, loveface). We must to try make something different.

Maybe a T-rex licking its lips (while bearing its sharp teeth), a grumpy stegosaurus, a derpy dodo (although not strictly a dinosaur - more of an extra), and an alert velociraptor (with a ! above its head) for when somebody says something interesting within the chat. These are all different to the basic smileys.

Also (adding to Jean and Cupim's ideas) a hatching smiley effect, like (cool#hatch), where the smiley hatches from the dinosaur egg. Maybe the spots could have their colours changed, e.g. (cool#hatch#purple) or (cool#hatch#orange). The default could be white with green spots.

Very good demonstration, but I only think that 7 animations would not be enough, maybe you could  create more animations. But very good job ;) !!!
