From what I've been told, you need to contribute a "fair amount of posts" and gather up a "fair amount of rep" in order to get Advanced Member. This was to prevent users from submitting low-quality posts and flooding the entire forum with junk.

If you want to know how to do it: Don't! Just post normally, have fun, give good, quality replies, and you'll be an Advanced Member in no time.

Here's the full announcement by Brandon:

As recently as last week, the requirements to become an Advanced Member changed. Simply making posts will no longer get you to Advanced Member. You'll need a fair amount of posts and a fair amount of reputation. These aren't the only requirements, and the exact requirements are not disclosed. Reputation abuse is regularly monitored as well. In order to become an Advanced Member in a timely fashion, you will need to regularly contribute to the forum and make high quality posts.

There is no easy way to reach this, you need to contribute content that is intended to be useful to users. However, was posted by Elie a suggestion about How to achieve such meridian on forum, click here to read more or or see the article below:

Maybe this can be useful for you.

That topic is being highly ironic, and isn't the best example to set new users imo, haha. @Nixs

Basically, just make sure your posts are thoughtful and that you're adding something useful to each discussion. Also, ensure your posts are easy to read and understand.

Not the best example, indeed, but it is nonetheless true. n.n
