Create shadow for smilies -> 8-) leaving them like these -> prntscr.com/g8i9lv independent of color
A simple detail of shade that leaves the xat more attractive, and the smiles with a healthier appearance
In the present smiles are pale and there are no shadows and an example of shade are the smiles that belong to the power sins. prntscr.com/g8ihuw

Putting a shadow on smilies can be counterproductive, as shapes are varied shadows and highlights may vary in smilie design.
I explain: You can not apply the same shade and lighting to smilie Envy IPpMh6ubTneLp77ty-V-Hw.png and smilie Pty vt6bQQ3-SZSMiE_BC_MXQw.png since the orientation of both is totally different. I think the shadows should already be defined when the smileymaker publishes the power.

I quite like this idea but I feel like it'd be a major task for the smiley creators to add shadows to all of the smilies.

Sure this could be done using another flash file. or something like the "classic power" using an internal function.

I support your idea.
