[This error is on every pages] Mixed Content: The page at 'https://xat.com/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure XMLHttpRequest endpoint 'http://xat.com/web_gear/chat/auser3.php'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

Maybe new users won't be able to get an id?

[Only on chats] Mixed Content: The page at 'https://xat.com/Foobar' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure resource 'http://chatsgroup.com/web_gear/chat/media.php?d=Foobar&p=0&id=150824205&t=0'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS.

And you should force users avatars to https in chats.

Another things, not about https but it should be fixed, each xat pages are calling

https://xat.com/web_gear/images/close.png

https://xat.com/web_gear/images/prev.png

https://xat.com/web_gear/images/next.png

https://xat.com/web_gear/images/loading.gif

All these links are 404.

Mixed Content: The page at 'https://xat.com/pgo' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure plugin data 'http://xat.com/crossdomain.xml'. This content should also be served over HTTPS.

Some apps still load http:// links which don't work with the https redirect

It seems the translator was broken:

Some other app may have been affected as well, such as xavi

Causes this

I noticed the translator app itself having issues, but chats translated in brackets next to the language just fine in the chat itself.

Not sure if the errors are causing it, but connection speed to chat pages and the xat site are running slightly slower than usual.

Since xat.com is going to use https soon as well until they have fixed issues with all links; embedded chats using "http" will be broken.

Website owners are forced to update their embed code if they want their chat working from now.

To do that; you just have to update your embed code by changing "http://www.xatech.com" to "//www.xatech.com" (remove completly http:) until admins have updated the embed code system on chat page.

It should be like that :

Quote

<embed src="//www.xatech.com/web_gear/chat/chat.swf"

Instead of that :

Quote

<embed src="http://www.xatech.com/web_gear/chat/chat.swf"

We are hoping for @Admin to update embed code. If you have any questions or issues about, feel free to post them, we will be happy to assist you!

Don't forget also to clear your cache to make sure you are on the latest version. (01072017)

Only debug chats are updated for now. We will have to wait for the non debug ones.

If you don't know how to clear your cache, please follow that website tutorial on here : http://www.refreshyourcache.com/en/home/

It's NOT an official announce, it's just a hint if you have issue with your embedded chat.

If you have also an issue by loading chat with http, try loading it with https://. (Example: https://xat.com/xat_test)
