System problem 25 (permanent transfer block): This is usually a result of breaking xat's Term of Use, by either scamming or phishing users. Open a ticket to ask for more information about the hold. I am locked out! What do I do?

You must be a paid user in order to open a ticket for this. If you encounter **Sorry, name already taken (2).** the name can then be enabled by a volunteer. Why can I not create a new forum topic?
      You need to confirm your forum account through your email in order to open a new topic. Why can't I use a forum signature?
      If you want to use a forum signature, you need to be an Advanced Member. Entrance to this user group is automatic and is based on post count. The more active you are on the forum, the more abilities you will be granted! My xatspace was removed. What do I do?
      Your xatspace was likely removed due to breaking the Terms of Service or the xatspace guidelines. Open a ticket under Account Block to have this investigated. Ensure the subject in your ticket is atleast 5 words. My chat was deleted. What can I do?

Playlist Help

Question

Can anyone tell me why my YouTube playlist on my chat is starting with a song that's not even on my playlist in the first place?...

 

It's The Beatles, for some reason....

Hello,

 

This is a bug(or feature) on YouTube,

 

First YouTube will play the song and then the playlist...

 

I suggest you to add a song that you like before starting the playlist, use the generator https://mundosmilies.com/bbcodes/youtube in the URL you should add the first song that will be played, in the Playlist input you should add your playlist ID, it will run firstly the song and then your favorite playlist songs.

What code are you using to embed it? What's the URL of the playlist?

Check to see if the the playlist starts with that song by entering the URL in a new tab, it's not possible to happen unless the URL is wrong, any YouTube link for example ends with a code like so (watch?v=CODEHERE) this code determines which video/song will play so my guess is you had the wrong code there.

The code I am using in the edit chat "Page 1" is [youtube:500:400:Qyclqo_AV2M:autoplay=1&list=PLwGR1VT9DFrtU5oZYq3fVJ-ag8WtrDRX-]

The URL I'm trying to use is  https:// www.youtube.com/playlist?lis t=PLwGR1VT9DFrtU5oZYq3fVJ-ag8WtrDRX-

Remove the spaces from the link. Could not copy and paste without the media player itself popping up.

 

@LamingI have never tried to add a playlist to a chat before now, so I am having a hard time understanding what you mean. It took me 3 hours to figure the one I have now out. The link you gave me simply adds the text to the Page 1, instead of the song. The media player only works when I use a playlist instead of an individual song, once again.

UPDATE: I am a retard. I wasn't putting anything in the stupid playlist ID. Thank you all for your help. I fixed it now.

Qyclqo_AV2M < this is a video id and you need to change it to the music you want, this video id is The Beatles music.

That's why it's showing the Beatles because you are using the song's video id.
