Hello.

If you've forgotten your password you can reset it at xat.com/lostpass . You will need to remember the email address associated to that xat account in order for you to reset it.

If you've forgotten or lost access to your email, you may open a ticket on an alternate account under 'Lost Access' and request an email hint or change for that account. You may be asked some questions to ensure you are the owner of that account. For information regarding how to make a new account, read here.

Note: Your password must contain no symbols or special characters. It should be alphanumerical.

Thanks.

If you are certain you are entering the correct username, reset your password at xat.com/lostpass  as I said already. You are not logging in, you are resetting your password so you can change it through your email to then be able to login. If you forget/lost access to the email associated to that account, do as I said above.

Are you sure you are using the correct email?

Try checking spam folders and and filter blocking you may have.

Try logging in with email instead of username to see if perhaps the email is for

another account.

The only option you really have left is to open a ticket.  I am not convinced you are using the correct email.

Try using the account's email to login instead of the username. If you still get this error, then please follow the steps listed below:

1) If you don't have an alternate account, get a new id and register it. Click here if you do not know how to get a new id.

2) Login to the new id and create a ticket under the Lost access help topic. Please note that the Subject must be five or more words.

You're either entering the wrong email address (forgot E-Mail address), or that you can't receive messages from xat because it could be that your email provider is blocking you from receiving mails from info@xat.com, speaking of which I recommend you check either if it's blocked or not you can remove it from the block list if it's there, the other thing it could be due to that your email provider isn't working properly with xat that's why xat recommends using gmail accounts.

You may need to open up a ticket asking for email hint if you're not positive that the email that you input in order to reset the password is correct.

Or ask for email change if your email provider isn't working properly with xat and that's after making sure that info@xat.com isn't blocked on your email provider.

In case you were to open a ticket : The department is " Lost access ", Subject must be at least five words.

Note : you may need to create a new account in order to open a ticket under that department, unless you have another xat acount that you have full access to its email and everything.
