Delayed Group Power

Power Name - Delayed

Type - Group

What it does - This power allows the main owner of the chat to use the command /d to delay new non-registered and toons from talking for a certain amount of time which is set in the main owner control panel. If a new non-registered toon wishes to talk they must set a real name to bypass the delayed power. This will be the same kind of system as /p and the hush power. I am thinking this may be another way to control raids or just another way to secure chats during busy periods. This also benefits other users in the chat as they will not have to solve a captcha when the power is used unlike when protect mode is turned on.

Advanced Features:

The main owner can set the minimum rank to use this power in the edit menu of the power itself or within GCONTROL.

It may be useful to automatically kick users after a certain amount of time if the toon does not change their display name, this would also be controlled in the edit menu of the power.

 

I know we have protect mode but was wondering if anyone would find this power useful? Any suggestions or improvements?

Raid bots can change their name, and will if this is implemented. Wouldn't be very useful at all, unfortunately.

I don't like this suggestion sorry. Yes we have protect mode and this suggestion defeats that mode.
