Can be used inapp pics on pcback. But if this is a problem, also can be reported.

Sure that it doesn't have lag because is just an image animation.

Looks nice, good suggestion.

@Admin what about?

To add to what @Meow said, inappropriate images are arguably much worse when animated.

They're more explicit and vivid (leaving nothing at all to the imagination).

I guess this is true, they are more extreme when animated.

There are two (or more) suitable ways to deal with this, that I have really thought about:

  • Adding a way to report PCBacks, like has been discussed in this thread previously
  • Leading PCBack moderation up to chat staff, in a similar way they deal with inappropriate avatars

I don't know why things should be changed just because it's animated. Just report it and be done.

Oh that's a good point. You need to pay money to use a pcback, so there should be less risk of abuse anyway.

Should be fine to report as normal, as Elie said.

Perhaps if a user is caught using an inappropriate gif as a PCBACK, they could lose the right to use a pcback entirely.

That sounds fair.

So I realized after making---> sllEUIu.gif

that there is no way to currently have a animated pcback with the pcback power.

I suggest a power or a change to pcback to allow animated backgrounds.

I like this idea,

It's something that won't use a lot of RAM in HTML5, since its just a "gif" nothing else.

"Flix" powers I'm almost sure will be same thing, so why not?

I support 100% your idea, including I did something like some time ago for chat groups

This would look pretty nice on some current pcbacks. I’ve seen some BG’s with animation and they don’t give much lag, I really hope they take this idea.
