Advanced Members Kyle Posted June 10, 2016 Advanced Members Share Posted June 10, 2016 Many users have came to Help regarding Chrome's update, and the best we could say was to downgrade to an old version or use another browser. At the time, we didn't have a download link for older versions. With that being said I am making this thread to teach you how to downgrade to an older version of Google Chrome to have that regular, smooth looking text that your eyes desire, if you wish to do so. Keep in mind you're putting yourself at risk by choosing to run outdated software. You can click here for the downloads of older versions of Chrome (Windows/Linux/Mac.) You want to download version 50.0.2661.75, 32-bit or 64-bit depending on your OS. Here is a video tutorial made by brackins, to make things easier.

Advanced Members Karl Posted June 10, 2016 Advanced Members Share Posted June 10, 2016 You need to uninstall Chrome from your system before running the install for this. If you don't uninstall it, the version will automatically become the latest version installed. A few problems that can be caused when using this. If you get a "cannot load plugin" error follow these steps; Go to run. Type in appdata. Go to local. Then go to Google - Chrome - User Data - Default - Pepper Flash - Pepper Flash version number then regname pepflashplayer.dll to pepflashplayerX.dll. The path should look something like this: C:\Users\UserNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\PepperFlash\21.0.0.216 The captcha doesn't seem to load on 49.0.2.623.75 but that may only be an issue with 64 bit versions.
Advanced Members Brandon Posted June 11, 2016 Advanced Members Share Posted June 11, 2016 I recommend you just keep your browser updated until it's fixed. Here is the bug report, and I believe this is the fix.
