Xat Text - Google Chrome

I know so many people are complaining about the new text on Xat.

Well I called google, and got some answers.

-

I told them from their latest update that the text on flash has changed, and looks lower quality.

They said, that they are always updating Chrome.

They told me that I have to tell the site admin to change the font/text.

This problem is within Flash, I have not made something as big as xat on flash.

So I am not sure if the Site Admins can change the font/test on a flash chat.

(I think they cannot anyway, its within flash itself.)

Unfortunately, if the admins have to fix the text themselves, they won't do it until mobile. They are only focusing on mobile. So don't expect any major updates and fixes till mobile drops.

You an always change the font on settings, there's no way to make the Arial font look good again(At least I've not found a way yet) but you can choose any other font :)

I think you can always try to install the old version of chrome.

Try using a different browsers, ME, Opera, Firefox, Maxthon, and Comodo Dragon browser works like chrome.

If you can try removing the update of chrome maybe it would work fine. (i haven't done it yet)

Its the same with Opera, since its also using chromium. ;/

This makes xat really not enjoyable, the text quality looks bad and kind of blurry, at least for me and i don't feel to change the browser either.

It's fine on Opera.

Hmm, not for me. Weird. It looks like you are using opera 38 too(or is it a developer version or something?), so its even more weird.

I disabled auto-update, so it won't be updated. :p

Maybe it'll work for Opera.. but I had Google Chrome's updates off as well and... you know the rest

It's easy to disable on opera, you just have to rename the auto-update.exe file to something else, and it will disable auto-update. :')

I don't know, if it's possible on CG.

Edit : Yes it's possible if you rename the GoogleUpdate.exe file.

If users have to remove auto-update on their browsers to use xat with a correct font... Plus xat being blacklisted on google...

This is not an obligation to do this, if people want to have a horrible font. :)
