  1. I forgot you spoke on admin's behalf.
  2. Why is removing the answers any better? Instead of complaining about being downvoted people will (and did) complain about their answers being deleted. I certainly don't have macros or forum answers. I think that phase is over. All answers should be tailored to the case at hand. Test powers are hardly given out on the forum, so it's not downvoting for that either. Nothing should motivate you more than trying to improve. Downvotes show you that you need to improve. If you're embarrassed, hide your reply.
  3. "I recommend you use Bryan as he's the most known and trust worthy reseller on xat at the moment." - you
  4. Yes, yes it is. You're all feeling a little down because you got downvoted. SJBB didn't make a thread, nor the other user. Lemona, friends with tanner make it. Had it been anyone else I'm sure no one would say anything. Good job, you showed the user where the buy page is. Doesn't answer the question. -1. End of story. Improve your answers and they will not be downvoted. Just because your answers were sitting at 0 before now they're at -3 doesn't make them any better or worse. Now you know the quality of your answer(s) is poor and you should improve them. Ive expressed my opinion on this and that's all I have left to say. If downvoting is kept, I will continue to downvote any answers that I personally do not believe answer the question. If it is removed I will continue to disapprove of the answer in private.
  5. You can put it in one of two ways, discouraging people from answering OR encouraging them to give more accurate and concise answers. I mean, questions are getting answered and we don't even need to encourage more people to join in. I dont see a problem if it stops people from posting irrelevant information (here's the buy page) and makes them think "OK, the accepted answer was short and sweet and answered the question - this is how I should answer". The main goal is to give the user the correct and best help, and I agree that information about resellers could have been helpful however it was presented in the wrong way. The system doesn't care for all your feelings, only that the user is satisfied. You may aswell argue that a volunteer shouldn't mark a best answer because they're disapproving of the rest and my feelings are hurt because of it.
  6. I'm sure it is. However, the question was "What are the risks of buying with PayPal on a second account?" not "I want to buy xats from a reseller post your favourite below". If you were to include information about reserve, and then also give general information about resellers (not saying buy from Bryan he is the best!!!) maybe you wouldn't have been downvoted. Ultimately your reply does not follow up on the question, nor contain any information about recovering the account.
  7. It's for separating good answers and bad answers. It's pretty obvious to me why the answers were downvoted. In fact, here's why: Tan, your answer states that they should just abandon their other account and use their alternative and then links to the buy page. They've already paid and know where the page is. Just because you edited in information after about reserve doesn't make it good. Finna, all your answer did was provide bias information and recommend a reseller which certainly does not answer the question. SJBB is in the same boat as Finna. I dont see what's unfair? Junior and Kyle provided correct information and answered the question and the rest did not.
  8. You must wait for a reply, there's nothing we can do to speed up the process of answering your ticket. If you cannot login to your account, then you cannot check your ticket status. You will need to wait for a reply from volunteers and you will be notified via e-mail. The e-mail will contain a link that you can use to view your ticket without being logged in to your account. Do not create another ticket as suggested by others in this thread.
  9. If volunteers have explicitly told you that your account will not be unblocked, there is nothing we, here on the forum, can do to help you. You should continue to wait on a response to your previous reply and solve this issue within the ticket system.
  10. Unfortunately, you cannot get a domain unblocked unless you are a paid user. You can, however, use xat Radio if your radio is in the SWF format.
  11. I mean do we really need to punish people for it? It's not like it's a big problem.
  12. 01012017 = 1012017 Surely you know that.
  13. In contributors defence (not that I personally do or care enough to share it with others and I have no feiends) the information posted is of low value and in most cases is allowed to be shared. If a contributor was to be made a volunteer, I'm sure they would know that under no circumstances would they be allowed to share information, and the information they would then have would not be applicable/relatable to their friends or even worth sharing. I also doubt everything said between volunteers stays that way, either.
  14. Looks like we have came full circle, then. The people who are experienced enough don't have enough time to keep the reply times low.
  15. 6 Euros an hour (lol) doesn't make your other job / college work disappear.
  16. Rida made an image with a whole array of examples of this (but I can't find it). Would be cool if I could change my heart/cross to match my namecolor and such (but no relationshipgrads etc...).
  17. How could you possibly expect no one to not google it? How could you prove or disprove the fact that someone "looked something up"?
  18. It'd be best not to suggest games that not everyone can pick up easily and have a fair chance. They should also be free and available to everyone. For example, Town of Salem has a moderate learning curve and people showing up "on the day" would have next to no chance of winning. Same could be said for DotA, CS:GO and so on. Steam games are really a definite no go.
  19. Are these two pieces of information related? Is this the fix? Why did you include it? The link is only useful if you know the ticket ID, which means if you haven't had a reply yet, or haven't written down the ID it's useless.
  20. It's not bad, however although a it's a cartoon it lacks a whole lot of detail for example nuckles, "finger lines", and "facial lines".
