  1. The idea is cool, but I don't see the point in having this on xat. It totally deviates from what xat is. And as mentioned above, these expressions can be posted in your chat, your xatspace.
  2. So, the idea was to take advantage of the fact that we can add or remove the main owner, have the options to add an owner and a moderator... this would facilitate better control of your staff and avoid awkward situations when having to remove staff. But for some reason that I would like to know, the idea was set aside. ;/
  3. My suggestion to add the option to add or remove friends without having to click on the user would fit perfectly into this quick menu.
  4. I understand your point of view, but do powers like (purple), (gold), (ruby), and (everypowers) not do the same? These powers also hide the user's rank pawn, yet users don't feel confused because they can click on the person and see the rank. Regarding the Stealth issue, as mentioned earlier, the pawn only appears in the user list. When speaking in the chat, the pawn is not displayed. The idea is precisely to have more functions similar to Stealth, but with main owners being able to use other default pawns from xat.com. As for the classification, main owners would still be classified as main. Nothing would change in that regard.
  5. When using Stealth, your pawn only appears as green in the user list. However, when typing in the chat, your pawn isn't displayed. The blue pawn from (blueman) doesn't work when you are the main owner, just like the one from (pink), and these pawns have nothing to do with what I suggested. What I suggested is to give main owners the option to use the default pawn on xat.com, and not pawns from powers like (blueman) or (pink).
  6. I would like to suggest the creation of a new power group or function. After being assigned to the chat, this power/function allows the main owner to use different pawns. The pawns that can be used are exclusively the standard pawns from xat.com. Green Pawn = Guest Blue Pawn = Member White Pawn = Moderator. Example: (P1G) = Green Pawn (Guest) (P1B) = Blue Pawn (Member) (P1W) = White Pawn (Moderator) Thus, a main owner adds the code (P1W) to their nickname, and their pawn would appear white, just like the moderators, even if they are the main owner. - -

    Connection issues

Good afternoon! @SLOom, could you please ask to restart this chat? The owner informed me that she couldn't access your chat. I checked, and indeed, there are connection issues. https://xat.com/shalon2022

    Connection issues

Good evening. my friend's chat... is showing connection problems. https://xat.com/Guerreira_da_Paixao
  9. Here's another improvement that I hadn't thought of. If a chat becomes 'verified' as super popular, this chat, in addition to the benefits, should receive feedback from xat.com regarding the type of report you brought up. If a chat room receives a report of serious staff misconduct, as you stated it has, why not add the privilege of receiving an email or notification from xat.com, informing the chat owner about the serious report? It would show where they went wrong and encourage improvement. If we just wait for bug fixes, xat won't make progress. We need improvements, updates, and innovations. And I repeat, the idea is to make popular chats verified, encouraging other chat owners to also want to have their chat super popular. A super popular chat wouldn't be linked to a tribute chat. They would be different things that can coexist on xat. ____________ @Junyor I like your idea, and we could enhance it further. Instead of the badge being only visible in your own super popular chat, how about making it visible across all 'super popular' chats?
  10. I already answered about this above; I'll answer again, so I apologize if I'm being repetitive for some. It's not about attracting users with the emblem but rather giving prominence to chats that have constant activity all the time. This would make other chats also want to have that spotlight and benefits, prompting the main owners and staff of the chats to invite more people to their chat. About the "Popular" tab on the main page, it's outdated; nobody pays attention to it. It's not even a main tab. Regarding tribute chats - having a verified chat has no connection with tribute chats. Popular chats are one thing, tribute chats are something entirely different. I took a look at the tribute chats, and almost all of them are empty, except for one Arabic chat that is full. So, it wouldn't make sense to turn popular chats into tribute chats. They are quite different, and I believe it's better not to merge them. About the "Celestial Pawn," why not? Popular chats are also important for xat.com. There are several chats that need attention and encouragement from xat.com. And giving main owners the opportunity to have a celestial pawn would encourage them to improve their chats even more. What I want to bring is something aimed at ordinary people, people from day to day, who are on xat chatting with friends. I apologize if I sound rude, but the majority of active people on the forum rarely enter popular chats. They just stay in the forum, trade, bingo, or chats reserved for friends. About the pawn - if this is an issue for some... because they don't want the main owner of a popular chat to have the same pawn as the verified ones, how about creating an exclusive verified pawn for the owners of popular chats?
  11. The idea is to benefit one or more owners depending on their evolution as outlined in the requirements. Chats with an inactive owner will either be empty or will hardly meet the requirements. It's not easy to have a chat full nowadays, quite the opposite. It's very challenging to keep a chat consistently full every day. I'm sure these benefits will encourage more absent mains to become active. If the main owner is inactive, another active main can acquire the verification in place of the inactive one. This is not just for the verification badge; there's also the distinction of being a popular chat with its associated benefits. We can include in the rules that the main owner with verification must be active. Regarding jealousy, if a staff member is dedicated while the main owner is inactive, they can create a room and invite people. After all, they are active and dedicated. All of this can be monitored by volunteers chosen for this purpose or even by creating a department responsible for this issue and adding people who can perform this function without any problems.
  12. @iGuinho A bingo chat can also participate as long as the chat consistently sustains its users in the room. After all, it has to meet the requirements. Otherwise, any bingo chat could host a bingo for 2 hours, reach the goal, and then remain empty all the time. I think, for this to work, we should have an option in the ticket system for chat owners to request verification for their chat room. Once verified, the chat would be under monthly observation to maintain its verified status. __________ @Junyor I believe the sky pawn would be more interesting. After all, it would be exclusive to chat owners, with the aim of winning more than one sky pawn for other mains. The sky pawn would make the chat owners interested in winning it, encouraging them to work on improving their chat, and that would be great for all of us.
  13. @Junyor It's a good idea to have different requirements for each country/community. This way, it would be fair for everyone. ______ @Sydno Exactly, if xat.com encourages chat owners in some way, it would already help. It's up to the owners and their staff to encourage their friends to come back and promote their chat rooms on their social networks. _____ @iGuinho The idea is to make the chat rooms become more populated again, and for the chat owners to feel encouraged and motivated to promote their chat on other platforms. Charging a fee goes against this goal; it would lead to bankruptcy. As you mentioned, paying a fee would only benefit bingo chats and is not what we are proposing. Popular chat rooms already have significant expenses with backgrounds, radios, websites, and events. noting that this idea is intended for popular chat rooms and not for tribute chats unless the tribute chat meets the specified requirements.
  14. I understand your concern, but it's 2023/2024, and what have you seen in terms of improvements for chats until now? Not much. The decline in users is also because chats haven't received attention from xat.com, and if we don't try to change that, it will only get worse. We need to motivate chat owners and staff to fill their rooms again. With the right incentives, this can happen. Speaking as a chat owner, I can't just wait for the administration to do something to save my chat and the several chats that have been emptying.. I have to actively work with my staff to make my chat attractive, and that's what I've been doing every day for years. I agree with you regarding the numbers, so I suggest we lower the requirements and encourage chat owners to bring people into their chats. I fully agree on the bingo issue. We should disregard chats with bingos.
  15. Some changes seem interesting to me, but some concerns worry me a bit... 1° - The minimum number for a chat to become "very popular" concerns me, as 30 registered users seem like a lot for today's chats. I've joined various chats from different countries, and it's difficult to find chats with more than 15 registered users. Unfortunately, xat.com has lost many users, so having a minimum of 30 registered users seems like a lot. Some chats with more than 30 users struggle to maintain that number, and sometimes dropping below 30. 2° - Chats that use raids, this hasn't been resolved yet. I believe it's easy to solve; a volunteer could visit the chat and check for raid usage, notifying the main owners to shut it down. If the main owners aren't using raids but have bots, kicking all the bots and programming one of the bots like Arc or Fex to protect the chat from bot raids should be sufficient. 2° - Bingo chats will attract various registered users from other chats for a few hours while the bingo is ongoing, manipulating the requirements. I prefer prioritizing popular chats as they sustain a large number of registered and unregistered users daily. 3° - The chat becoming very popular automatically is interesting but worrisome. As more chats become popular, the minimum number for a chat to be considered very popular would increase. This could easily be manipulated to inflate the minimum number for a chat to be considered very popular. 4° - One moderator for every 10 users - I would change this. Some chats add fewer staff to better control the chat. There are times when the chat is slower with fewer staff, so I believe we could increase the number of users to 20 and have 1 mod. One mod could easily control a well-administered chat with this ratio. Perhaps having some volunteers, or even you (Cupim), to oversee these issues, with a dedicated ticket system for these matters, would be beneficial.
  16. Hello, I would like to present my idea for a selected chat focused on popular conversations (everyday chats). * My idea is that official chats have a selected seal in their name (golden seal) to indicate that the chat is official. * And popular chats, with a blue seal (chats that have a significant number of people on a daily basis). The idea of the selected chat (in blue) is aimed at popular chats, chats with activity, containing a specific number of active members, and helping to maintain people's interest in continuing on xat.com. To participate in the verification program, the chat must meet the following requirements: - Have a minimum of 30 users daily. - Have an active team in the chat. - Be among the top three most popular in the last two months. - Accept users without registration. - Have a chat created for at least one year. Things that would disqualify a chat: - Disregard chats with partnerships (to not influence the number of users). - Disregard chats blocked only for registered users. - Disregard chats that use bots (raid). Benefits of being verified: + 20% discount for chat and banner promotion. + Better support (creation of support tickets for selected chats for faster support). + Highlight. This will also encourage chat owners who want the selected seal to strive and work harder to keep their chat busy, promote their chat, invite friends, etc. If you have any questions or want to add more ideas, feel free; I'll be reading. I gave an example in the requirements; it's up to the administrator to decide the best way. Attention: even though some chats are selected, the selected chat (in blue) is not an homage or similar chat. The selection is for popular chats.
  17. I would have responded nicely like all the friends above did... but there's no need. Essentially, everyone responded the same using different words. So, I would like to draw attention to another issue. (In my opinion) - I believe that being a volunteer is more than just responding to tickets and forum topics. Volunteers need to be more human, interact, step out of their comfort zone, get to know the users, discover their ideas, and make real changes for the community. I apologize if any volunteer doesn't like what I'm going to say, but most volunteers are in autopilot mode, more focused on the forum and tickets and less on the community. They are forgetting the most important thing... THE COMMUNITY. I'll give two examples: Cupim sometimes enters my chat and talks to the members, asks what they think of the chat, the news, asks what improvements they would like to see, answers questions... and that is important. We feel that we are not abandoned. Another example is Page - main from Ajuda; she sometimes enters my chat too, asking how the chat is, if we like the news, answering questions, encouraging people to create an account on the forum, to participate in the forum, to give ideas in the forum. We need this... volunteers who leave their world and come to know new worlds. I'm sure there are several chats and several users with good ideas, but they don't share them because they don't know how or because it's discouraging to come to the forum, send their ideas, and never know if the idea will be worked on or not. If you're a volunteer to only stay in the forum or in trade, I don't see the point in being a volunteer. Just responding to tickets or the forum is not enough. Anyone can do that. Don't take it the wrong way, volunteers. But we need you and new volunteers to be participative in our community. (Within the chat)
  18. I created this design to illustrate the idea and incorporated it with feedback. - 1st image: Friends tab with a clickable button to edit friends. - 2nd image: After clicking on edit, the person searches for the ID or NAME of the user they would like to add and clicks the '+' button to add them to friends through name/ID search. - 3rd image: After clicking on edit-friends, the IDs in the friends list appear with a '-' button for unfriending. This way, a person can add friends through name and ID search, and there's no risk of accidentally removing friends when clicking on a person. 1° edit friends 2° add friends 3° unfriends
  19. Hello, I would like to suggest the option to remove friends on the xat desktop version. It's quite bothersome to have to click on a person to unfriend them, especially when they are online.
  20. I misunderstood the functionality of this power. I thought it was the opposite of the function. thanks for the comments. and i hope they launch a power with the function of limit links that unregistered members can send -sorry
  21. this makes perfect sense if xat is a xat with little movement. but for a xat that every day has new guests for the member it would be nice to have an option to limit certain links. final for what use is the power (WHITELIST) having? just to block the guest... xat.com already does this automatically - it would be nice to be able to control the types of links that non-logged-in members send in chat
  22. Exactly! power allows you to limit which links you want a guest to send in xat. however, any unregistered member may send you links that you may have blocked. what i propose is that xat owner can block links to be sent only by registered members+ maybe the translator confuses the message https://prnt.sc/8vTZW0soBqE3 any member without login can send links. the best would be that only the registered ones send links. or the choice of xat's main
  23. Hello, I would like to suggest modifying the power (WHITELIST) this power it just blocks guests from being able to send links that xat blocked... however this power would be more useful if it instead of blocking only guest.. it blocks guest and members without registration. guest or unregistered member could not send links that are blocked in xat. I believe this functionality is much more useful. this way we would avoid sending inapps, personal photos, pornography or any other type of links that people without login keep sending to disrupt the progress of xat
  24. It would be a great update. this would mainly prevent receiving attacks in the padlock and in the private. which is what most disturbs. and whoever wants to keep getting cdd and pvt from rondom simply do not enable nopc and nopm blocking I made an example image NOTE: My config menu is in Portuguese.
  25. I think it's a great idea for us who take care of xats with a lot of movement and we need to use kicks a lot of times to control the xat's progress.
