Volunters: A Current Necessity for xat.com?
I have been a xat user since 2010, and initially, I didn't worry much about the platform's guidelines. I was just an ordinary user. However, over time, I became more deeply involved in the community, aiming to be externally helpful and assisting in areas where xat.com couldn't fully meet users' needs.
xat.com has had its ups and downs over the years. In its most prosperous phase, there were fewer roles and volunteers, yet the service provided was of high quality. Users' issues and questions were promptly addressed in all sectors. The team was well-defined, and there were no doubts about the integrity of each member. Even with tens of thousands of users, the team was competent enough to handle any problem.
Today, with xat.com having fewer users than before, the question arises: is it really necessary to have more volunteers? Sydno, in his publication, emphasized that suggestions from some volunteers are often not heard. From my perspective, the current xat.com volunters, especially the longstanding members, is highly competent.
I believe xat.com needs more unity and should give users more power of voice. Simply adding more volunteers may not be effective if the community continues to lose users daily. I love this community and maintain hope that xat can regain its past glory.
