User profile is significantly worse. Nobody actually caares about the number of powers out of everypower they have. They either have it or they don't, they'll use a bot to check (you aren't displaying missing power information anyway). Other details and actions take significantly more clicks to get to and edit, making the user experience worse. Updates for color pickers on name glows and grads are good just merge them into the existing UI. There's plenty of room. New avatar picker is good, but what is it going to upload to? The flash UI offered the same information (toon avis) in the same dialog popup. What is under "Add effects" as effects like #snowy don't work atm(, iirc?) -- this could just be under the same thing as avatar/pawn info? Status edit / colors is good, just just merge them into the existing UI. There's plenty of room. Pawn edit is neat, but make it an input field independantly to the right of the Name field. Or add in it in new row and remove the irrelevant buttons. As the current dialog can already be improved there's no need for both a lot of the buttons on the profile. Both Buy xats and xat Store button - Buy xats is already on the chat, Settings - already in the quick bar, Login - I'm already logged in why do I need this? If I'm prompted to login during trade it's linked to me anyway, etc. Maximize the space available before making unnecessary updates that complicate workflows and move actions around.

Maybe make it so we can hit ESC to cancel out of that ? Why can't we hover over [an icon or] something for this? The homepage is one of xat's most defining features, the most effective advertising method and the best way to just share funny things. Why are things being made less accessible? Why can't we use the up arrow for this?

I'm kind of confused here, what's the target demographic for this? Imo, the appeal of xat is its niche characteristics. The difference between these sites/apps (snapchat, instagram, tiktok or whatever) and xat is that they are built around images and videos, while xat is focused around chatting. Making a product fit for every possible situation does not increase the appeal of the platform; It dilutes the already existing and highlighted features, which are already appealing to the targeted userbase. A great use of this would be to make these filters/overlays for OTHER platforms that highlight and advertise xat, and still achieve what you're wanting.
