@CarlosDesigns, by active, I believe he means active in chat when online (ie. not away at other chats or AFK) and not activity in general which is just spending a lot of time there when possible.

Hey, From what you have written, it sounds as though your account is blocked. Can you provide further detail so we can direct you to the correct ticket system department? What error are you experiencing? System error 55?

This suggestion is pretty self explanatory - basically I’ve noticed that hug powers are rarely used, let alone in main chat. I believe this to be due to the costs associated with sending hugs. I am suggesting that users should be allowed to send hugs in main chat for free - only a limited amount though to prevent spamming/abuse. In addition to this, there would be a limit to the duration between the hugs being sent (ie. the same user cannot send two hugs in a row). I am suggesting no more than 5 free hugs per day, before a charge of 10 xats is added to each hug sent (somehow users will need to be able to check how many hugs they’ve sent for the day or a warning for when they exceed the 5 free hug limit for the day so they don’t spend xats unaware of them doing so). The limit of 20 hugs in 24 hours should still apply. Furthermore, gcontrol options should then be added too. Such options could control the amount of hugs being sent for free. While they couldn’t make this higher than the maximum of 5, the number could be reduced for the chat to prevent disruption. This could even block free hugs being sent if the option was set to 0 (a chat like Trade would likely want to reduce the number of free hugs being sent).

Just some ideas, perhaps some of which could be considered. Additional Features: This power could give a colour effect from a crayon to any smile too! By this, a regular smile could appear coloured in by a crayon. A smile of large length which allows a small message to be written in crayon (with the motion of the crayon being shown). This could also be done like the ‘popspeech’ smile. A hug which includes a message written in crayon, perhaps even a drawing in crayon if we could somehow hook this up to the doodle app. Alike above, the crayon motion could be shown. If this option was to be implemented with the doodle app, could we perhaps allow a certain number of free hugs in main chat? Pawns/Hats: A crayon replacing the pawn (with the colour of the crayon being based off the current rank/colour power on display). A regular pawn, but the colour of it has a crayon effect (to replicate it being coloured in by a crayon). A further option to the regular pawn with the colour of it having a crayon effect is having the crayon also making a colouring motion on it. (This is similar to typing power - perhaps we could replace the pencil that appears when typing with a crayon if both powers are enabled).

Personally, I don’t feel it is appropriate for such thread like this to take place. Not only is it not encouraging a positive community where everyone is appreciated/equal, those dedicating their time to the chat are being judged for their actions unfairly instead of being thanked for giving their precious time to the chat. @Sydno even pointed out that this poll has no meaning as the person mayn’t necessarily be made moderator. How would you feel if you logged on and received all of this negative feedback?

Bau, I'm pretty sure Brandon was open to new volunteers, but not a multitude of new ones who may not be deserving of or ready for such rank. Obviously, there are many requirements for upcoming volunteers and just because you list certain names which you believe would make good volunteers, doesn't mean others will feel the same way.

It is still an issue.
