If so, you can use manual entry for the application by selecting "Enter provided key" instead of "Scan a barcode" on the Authenticator app. If you did not save the QR code and time-based code when you activated authentication on your account, then there is no way to recover it. What you should note is that it's unlikely you'll get a refund, as it was technically not xat's fault. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis and the previous sentence doesn't necessarily express xat's views on this matter. You will want to open a ticket under “Report Scam”.   12. Hello, If you're using a different email provider other than Gmail, then it's most likely an issue with your email provider. Please check your spam/junk folders and make sure that your email is not set to block emails from info@xat.com. Try waiting a few hours, and if this doesn't appear to be fixed, you will want to open a ticket under "Lost access" so that xat can look into this issue and change the email address associated with your account, if necessary.

  19. I believe this option gives the ability to decide which rank (including higher ranks) can't be silentbanned. I.e. if it's set to moderator and you attempt to silentban a moderator, it'll go through as a regular mute. This would explain why members can see the mute message.
