Not getting an answer the first week is normal. The "Account Block" help topic is highly loaded with tickets, which makes its responses more delayed. This may be frustrating to hear, but you must continue to wait patiently for a reply. I can assure you that your ticket has not been ignored, it's still waiting to be answered. The volunteers are currently working on removing these delays across a number of reasons, these who volunteer their time to answer tickets also have other personal obligations, and delay has been decreased from 5-6 months to 1-3 months. When your ticket receives a reply, you will be emailed whenever your ticket is replied to.
Making a new thread is a great way to get more information, but it will not speed up the process of being answered.
