It is 2022.

In futuristic times we all meet the popular innovation.

Popular because everyone wants to feel modernized and the innovation due to change that's often imposed, forced toward us and inevitable to those who rather experience impopular antiques.

But how do we know that what was modernized is truly the efficient and sufficient to us?

How can we distinguish the new to the old? Is it a flat design, is it a less laggy page?

Is it a button that before for such action would require much more pushing and clicking? Is it a style to the text we write? Is it an image we use instead of to describe?

If a picture tell a thousand words how far does a well placed sarcastic smiley upon a very tense context says ?

Can you get sick of innovation? Is there a limit to modernization?

Can you get a 'fatigue' out of seeing the new, the new, the new, the latest, the ultimate, the most recent, the fresh? Is life all about sitting and watching the same river whose current never shows the same water?

xat has changed. xat is changing. But here we didn't decide to sit and fish, here we are together building our own raft, made of our own bones (our own ideas)

Wherever that current lead us that's where we are going. We no longer fear destiny because we are now secure that we are building our own.

Today, as every first day of the month that has came and is yet to come, we gladly and proudly announce this month's next main: @Enge.

We hope that you continue to do a good job as @Tita has done previously. With a warm welcome we can only hope for the better. Better times on xat/HTML5 and better changes on xat.

Maybe a public page entitled 'fairtrade ombudsman' where everyone can post as long as they verify their ID on a Bot (laming understands this),

so you can do like

"Feedback on a price: X power."

So you feedback X power should be 120-160.

Then this goes to a public list of all feedbacks

And other verified users can vote (Y) or (N)

This may gives us more 'opportunity' to see what's wrong considering the diversity of powers

And also only fairtrade editors would continue to edit ... so they'd know what's a fake vote and what's a real complaint.

xat has a thing about being unique. If they stop "custom css settings" like it was possible in the past then there's not much that you can do to make your chat unique.

I think the idea of a chat identity is based on its look. If the platform stops us from using CSS customization freely then they'd prevent us from being unique.

I think "gstyle" is a premium tool for users who have no css skills.

I see the group power as a possibility to get stuff done easily. You can modify looks with clicks not codes, and it's cheap (price on store)

I hope they add more stuff to gstyle, perhaps more possibilities to change, add more flags, glow size and transparency, maybe shadow to the font, Blur effect if you hover the header, etc.

I would like to see more "levels" added to gstyle. So if you assign +1 you unlock a level (more options), as it is now. But I mean xat should keep "updating" this power instead of making a gstyle2 or gshadow etc.

With the predefined colors and options xat can "keep a pattern" and ensure its cultural identity remains...

BUT if you're a css master you can simple make your own cultural identity.

65 xats to make your "cultural identity" in a few clicks?

Not disappointing to me.

Hey everyone,

This event has ended, and as now all that we've got are memories I am going to answer each one of you.

But first, thanks to all the users who have contributed by suggested ids here.

The users on trading chats (xat.com/Trade xat.com/Cambio xat.com/Loja) made a difference by staying online, feeling the magic of powers.

To continue, first I apologize for the late announcement but the third auction has been rescheduled.

In revealing information, the third auction may occur during the 2021 Christmas Event (yet to-be-announced)

Also, I would like to say that all the users who have voiced and asked for power auctions have been heard.

We forwarded your posts and chat messages to 42, and it seems that they are now planning in a rework to make power auctions a possibility again. But for now, all we can do is wait for Santa Claus.

To answer @HUSE1N, first I would like to thank you for your input. Being part of the forum here and having your say helps us to make changes as a community, by listening and working together. Now, I believe the event was a "Black November" type of thing as you had things going on for weeks. Regarding power auctions, as said above, we have communicated to xat, hopefully there's good news coming soon. But personally I think it is more fair for users to go on store other than going through an auction. Power auctions work similarly to IDs auctions, and as you've said the buyers may be all the same always. If that is correct, then can the same can happen to a power auction? I think both things can happen (rare releases on store + power auctions), just so you know. There were releases that you could buy 2, 5 and 10, so they did increase the limit. I appreciate your comment. I love xat too. Hopefully you can see better events next time.

I don't think you are to be blamed for being honest and looking for a (better) change @Erick, at least not in my threads, the idea of the forum is to do exactly what we are doing, announcements can be done elsewhere and I'm happy I had the opportunity to share the schedule to users. First, I would note that I saw many releases of cheap limited powers that are expensive on trade, and the releases happened in different times, I could say most timezones were covered as I kept getting twitter notifications randomly at all times. Regarding having the community to have a say on the event, it's the whole purpose of this thread - we need more ideas, feedback, brainstorm. Anyway, let's hope what we've seen now can give us more energy to think of better ideas for the future. Thank you for your input. I am sorry you weren't surprised but I loved the mystery releases/tweets, they were fun

@xiFaahx there were (store) releases on the 27th.

Hey @xKathya I also agree the store needs to be more fair when it comes to selling rare powers so everyone can have an equal chance. Hopefully events can improve in that aspect in future events.

@lcky the 3rd auction was "merged" to the next event (2021 Christmas). Sorry for the late message.

26th November: Rare powers will go up for sale at random times + 2nd AUCTION + SHORTNAMES DISCOUNT.
27th November: Rare powers will go up for sale at random times + 3rd AUCTION.

NOTES.

- "Rare power" release means xat will put up for sale a power that is limited.

- "AUCTION!" means xat will do an auction at that date, it is unspecified the type of the auction (surprise).

- "SHORTNAMES DISCOUNT" means xat will host a promotional event on that date which will involve shortname discounts, it is unspecified on how it will work (another surprise).

- "up for sale" means the power will release at xat.com/store

- Events will begin on the Fridays and continue on the Saturdays (some may last until Sunday - that is still a mystery)

The cost of creativity is experimentation. The time you spend into thinking and imaging what could be new, inside your own mind, can only be valued by others when experimenting happens. The individual theses have no meaning if there's no collective practice. In simple words, there's no way for us to invent ideas alone. There's no way for us to find the crack which will allow us through the other side. The new side.

We've been thinking for too long over the chat box.

But it's time for us to think outside the chat box.

After a long path of infinity suggestions that have been made looking towards chat box improvements, chat experience and other features that relate to xat such as powers and settings... I would say that we need to look beyond. Beyond the forums, beyond the website, beyond the apps.

With the new xat we welcomed the xatframe idea. You can now translate messages instantly. Quoting your friend message makes the conversation easier and reacting to them makes an attitude, you can speak without words but clicks now.

This sight is about actually closing your eyes. I don't want us to keep going back and forth the idea of what we have, of what we can do with it, of what needs to be changed. I want us to create. I want to us make something that hasn't been seen before.

And lately, with this project of ours, we made it possible to be original, authentic and still xattish. And I am proud to be near you all. I am glad that we can dialogue. I am happy with what has happened so far.

The diversity that @Nathy brought us can only be continued by a person who's active and willing to test and suggest. We welcome @Jev as the monthly manager of November 2021.

It's time to use your SUPERHALLOWEEN with 5 new pawns that are now available for the first time (not old but exclusive new pawns).

This super collection was released in 2018.

Let's say that the changes have the DNA of the powers that are part of the collection.

There were changes before (with limited pawns from new powers being added to the collection, for example see the first post of this thread).

But the SUPERHALLOWEEN collection is celebrating the 3rd year of existence this year.

And we need new pawns. Always. Forever. Can I hear "YEAH"?

I think the idea is to allow PURPLE and GOLD to do more. In the past xat boosted the purple pawn power with smilies.

I don't see the possibility of adding the "purple fx" to any pawn as a problem- this would allow users who prefer blueman and pink to use the purple effect. The same can work with gold if you have purple, or even add purple spark to gold pawn etc.

The "art of combining pawn effects" sounds as beautiful to me as the smiley combining arts.

I suggested in the past:

GOLD FX: You can apply the gold spark effect to other pawns i.e. PURPLE, BLUEMAN, PINK.

I believe PURPLE FX can also exist. It would be amazing if we could do more with the existent pawn powers.

There should be more methods to combine them and this suggestion goes under that principle. Thanks for your post!

By the way. I recalled we also had allpowers effects. I know this would be properly discussed in a separated topic (there is one I think- regarding allpowers hats/pawns). But I thought it to be worthy mentioning since a "Pawns Update" is a nice idea to hear.

We have been grateful to the people who have contributed to us month after month. Suggestions were made and with the direct involvement from the community we started a new chapter where everyone's ideas can be looked at fairly.

Our ambition is to expand our group to the most diverse cultures to ensure that xat internal community, it's users... Us. To ensure that we, as its community, can be open and accessible to everyone. To give a chance to users who want to help and sometimes cannot find the way.

In a continuous attempt to make xat more diverse, we are here to announce @Nathyas the new monthly manager.

As the train which we have built keeps going through its oriented path, many other folks help us to see new possibilities.

This ever growing projection of changes is a dream persued by all the people involved in our project. It is no longer an individual ambition.

The paths that we tend to follow are not solely from the development scheme that xat staff keeps pushing through with new frequent updates but also through the minds of those who help us to think of new ideas, as solutions to our problems, or to see bugs that could make the result less "effective" or, at sometimes, not effective at all.

Those minds who help us bear the drama of the never-ending chat development also encourage us that stability and performance is just around the corner.

Those are the ones who we are going to keep close, who needs us as much as we need them.

The hunger for fixing trouble and the anxiety to see it fixed is a perfect combination, just like cola soda and sliced lemons, or hat and reghide powers.

Finally, or actually, let's hope this to be a new beginning, we are here to announce @DiddyDoodat as the new monthly manager. Thanks for your effort on helping us.

I think the efforts made by those around us today are reflected in the results of tomorrow. It is no secret that most of the changes on this very website are the purest desires held by the users, their say on what needs to be done, their criticism on what needs to be priority, and their participation on its path.

The recent ideas suggested here have resulted in an amazing new power. Our common efforts are reaching the level where there’s motivation for the users to keep suggesting. BANTIMES and its origin are key to understanding the context of this post of mine.

I believe that the real impact of an idea relies on what else can be done with it (apart from its main purpose). Ideas that easily and naturally turn into more ideas- adapted or completely renewed- these are true changers. And lately I’ve seen many of these.

We are there. At this level. Our problems no longer go unsolved. Our ideals no longer kept separated due to a language or culture barrier.

No obstacles to stop the ideas from turning into more ideas.

There is nobody to keep originality untouched when adaptation needs to happen.

We are there. The tomorrow is close- it is hours apart.

Today we say goodbye to @MasterChief, who gave us an unforgettable month.

Today we receive @Maxo.
