      Yep, that's exactly right. At the moment, the focus is on reducing the amount of open cases that don't have an assigned volunteer. This means that cases that are open and are being investigated are the lowest priority. In departments where there are time-sensitive issues and where there are delays, priorities like that have to be set due to limited resources. The goal is that, eventually, there won't be delays even for users waiting for the completion of their investigation.

      A small set of users may be waiting that long for the completion of an investigation, but nobody is waiting that long for a standard reply, in any department.

    Everyone say after me: "My New Year's resolution is to not making any more topics like this." when users voice their concerns. articulate an actual reply to stop these users from making these threads. smfh. same year same bull

      I'm not going to articulate an actual reply when these topics pop up weekly with no end in sight. It's as if a secret gathering of forum members band together to decide who gets to post this week's topic, and each time it's a repeat of the previous topic. (They don't pop up weekly, but you get the idea.)

       

      Here are a couple steps to consider, not directed at TInkerDoodle specifically, but to anyone who wants to listen:
       

      Step 1: Let's all drop the theatrics, stop being extra, and stop being so dramatic. Take a look at the language in the most recent topic: "We have been living in dark times for several years without any dreams in our sight, this shall be no more!" Honestly? If people have legitimate complaints, drop the act. You can clearly see that some of these topics are geared toward creating community outrage without accomplishing what they're set out to do: Be inviting to an an actual, productive conversation among volunteers and the community.
       

      Step 2: Stop hating volunteers. You're not going to get a real reply if you treat us like garbage. Do I own this site? No. Am I responsible for guaranteeing that tickets get answered? No. Am I in a supervisory role? No. These all sound like jobs for the administrators, so direct outrage to them. Do I get paid? No. Do I have a life outside xat? Yes. Is this a thankless job where users constantly berate you even though you get no worthwhile compensation, doing the tasks of an entry-level support staff member? Yes. I could go on, but the point is that I don't know how anyone could possibly expect serious replies from us when we're mocked, degraded, and threatened constantly. Notice the "us versus them" mentality when the community interacts with volunteers most of the time. Why is that?

  10. It is not good to restrict the Advanced Member for users to 50 posts and a certain reputation... It will decrease the amount of users on forum online.

      There are multiple requirements that are unknown. It wouldn't decrease activity because regular members can still post and they have almost all the same permissions.

      The exact requirements to become an Advanced Member are not known to the public. This is to prevent abuse. Once someone meets the requirements to become an Advanced Member, they will automatically be promoted. There's no need for me or anyone else to do anything.

  22. Hey @Brandon @Admin - Why can not we add pictures in the club? Can many people add inappropriate image? Or is there any other reason?
    I think it's a good idea to add images! Related to xat, fun or beautiful, graphics, logos, banner e others.
    I'm not talking about adding an image to a regular topic, but I'm talking about a photo album, I think you know what I'm talking about! If you disable this option, can you activate it?
