  6. The thing is, this post does not belong in General Support. This is better suited to ask your friends on xat, not for the forum. Please do not open a thread about this again.

It seems as if a large majority of users who took a long hiatus from xat (in your case, 1-2 years), become held indefinitely, receiving system problem 55 when they attempt to trade.. buy xats, etc. Additionally, if someone were to try to transfer to you, they would receive system problem 26. As to why this happened, I can only guess that it's due to the November 2015 incident. Perhaps users who took a long break and did not have much login activity were held, so that anyone who was trying to break into your account was unable to take anything of value. Keep in mind this is purely conjecture, as I do not really know for a fact. Your guess is as good as mine! Hopefully you've created your ticket in the Account Block department. I'm sure after the volunteers have done all necessary precautions to remove the hold from your account, they could shed a bit of light onto why you're held. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
  8. I had a simple idea come to me just now. What if we were able to color our BFF cross / Marriage heart, provided that both subhide and reghide were turned off? I'm not entirely sure if a new power would be needed, but perhaps an enhancement to the already existed (hat) power. While some might regard this as a relatively useless update, I think it would offer a small degree of customization that some users would appreciate. I don't know how many of you know me, but you can usually see me using a dark red namecolor combination, that really really does not go well with the default red color that comes with the BFF cross. I can hear you now: "Angelo, shut up, and just turn subhide on and settle for the black cross/heart. This is a lame idea." My refutation to this follows: No. I want to color it. Thoughts? Ideas? Suggestions?

  10. First you tell us that you've waited 4 weeks while "receiving help", then "2 weeks on a ticket". Last week you said you had been waiting for 6 weeks total to receive help, this week you claim it's 8 weeks. Now you say it's 17 days? I can understand why you're making this suggestion, and I have to say that I agree with you- to an extent. However, as far as I know, the whole volunteer situation is in the process of becoming better and better every day. Two new volunteers were recently made, making the load in most of the departments easier to deal with. You need to remember that three major holidays are happening right now, and most volunteers are busy with their own lives. Perhaps, something that you should be more concentrated on, as opposed to being so caught up on xat. Right now, in the situation that we're in, nothing is going to change overnight. I suggest that you step back, take a deep breath, enjoy life a little and wait for a reply. Remaining patient will undoubtedly make your situation all the easier.

  13. First, you need to create a new account. To do so, follow the guide at newid, then register your new ID number. You then need to open a ticket at xat.com/ticket under the department of "Report Scam". You are not required to be a paid user to open a ticket in this department. Please include your Username/ID number to the account you have lost access to. Primero, necesita crear una cuenta nueva.   15. First, you need to make a new account. To do so, click on newid, follow the directions, and then register it. This is required because of the fact that the account you've made your ticket on is no longer able to make purchases. Once you register your new account, you will need to buy $40 worth of xats, plus the $20 worth of xats fee. In total, you should be spending $60. Please keep in mind that the payment you may must not be reversible/ must not give a reserve. To see which payment options give reserve, and which do not, please visit xat.com/buy Once you have made your purchase(s), you need to reply back to your original ticket, telling them that you've bought the xats necessary, along with your new Username and ID number.

This information is used to make sure that you are truly the owner of the account, and wish to turn authentication off. Try to answer their questions to the best of your ability.     Block users

    There are a few other ways to stop any contact between you and someone that you wish to block: Use the NOPC/NOPM powers Find a new chat to go to, away from that user. Use nofollow so your friends can't tell on you! If the user you wish to block shows up in the new chat, ban them. Make your own chat, and make it members only Keep ignoring a user Mentally ignore someone. They'll stop being annoying after a while of not getting a reply. With all these in mind, I don't see why we would need a block power.

  21. Here's a bit that I copied and pasted from the wiki article that I want you to take into consideration: Remember it must start with http:// or else the power won't function properly. If your radio doesn't work, try adding /; to the end of the URL (e.g., http://radio.com/;). Also, try using a few different links to different radios. Perhaps the one you're trying to use isn't functional. Not all of the ones that you copy from xatworld or google may be up to date.
