Ve a un chat, tal como xat_Test y usa el comando !userinfo NOMBRECORTO y asegúrate de que este no haya sido visto por ningún bot en al menos 1 año. Si el bot responde con un mensaje genérico diciendo que no se encontró, probablemente han estado inactivos por un largo tiempo, y deberás abrir un ticket. 2. Abre un ticket bajo el help topic "Short names and Groups" y especifica cuál nombre corto es el que quieres que pongan a la venta nuevamente, y diles que pertenece a un usuario inactivo. 3. Los voluntarios abrirán un ticket con el dueño actual para darles el chance de mantener el nombre corto. Si el usuario no responde dentro de una semana, los voluntarios podrán liberar el nombre de acuerdo al chequeo oficial de xat acerca de la última conexión de esta cuenta.

  5. Before this is locked - you should be able to use two different PCs on the same network to connect to xat. Someone had the idea that perhaps you were assigned the same ID on both computers. If this is the case, you can reset both your IDs and make two different accounts (under two different e-mails) and you should be able to login on both PCs. Or, login to two different already-existing accounts on both PCs. But, if you're okay with using one PC at a time to use xat, that's fine too! Good luck!

  7. No worries, although I am a bit confused. I know of some friends that are brothers that were able to come online at the same time in the same household. Maybe I'll ask them and then PM you what I find.
  8. The first thing I would try is restarting your router and modem. Just to double check that everything is running smoothly. Secondly I would check to see if your downstairs computer that can actually connect to the internet. Tell me if you can pull up a webpage such as YouTube, or maybe Reddit. If you can, that's a good sign. If you can't however, I would call your ISP and ask them what your options are. When I recently replaced my router and redid my home network, I had to set up an access point so my computer could connect to the WiFi - I had no wifi card or receptors in my computer. If you can connect to the internet on your downstairs computer, but not to xat, try getting off of xat on your upstairs computer and seeing if you can connect on the one downstairs. Can you? Let me know. I looked up some online forums from 2009 and one answer suggested using this link to go to chats: https://xat.com/chat/room/1/?p=0 Replace the "1" with whatever the ID of the chat you're trying to go to is. If you were trying to go to xat.com/xat_test, you would type "5" instead of "1". If you don't know your Chat's ID, use this tool: https://www.xatworld.com/whatsmyxatchatid/ I have no idea if that will work but I thought it'd be worth mentioning. Do all chats you try to attend pull up the (AT) error? Try to go to xat.com/Help , xat.com/Trade , and xat.com/Lobby and tell me if all three pull up the (AT) error. If not, it may just be the chat you're trying to visit. These are all my ideas! Let me know if they don't work and someone here or myself can continue to assist you further.
  9. Is your IP address dyanmic or static? (Do not post your IP here, just tell me whether or not it's dynamic or static)
  10. On your phone, are you using a limited network connection, such as 3G or 1X? Or are you connected to a wireless network? If you're not connected to a wireless network, go ahead and try. If the problem persists, restart your network router and restart your phone. Then, reconnect to your wifi. Does the cpatcha come up on EVERY chat? Or is it only certain chats?

  13. For your first account, I would go to xat.com/Ticket and file a ticket under the department of Account Block. Tell the volunteers what error you're experiencing, and they should be able to help you out. Please make sure your subject is 5+ words and that the message of the ticket is in English. You do not need to be a paid user to open a ticket here, so you can open this ticket from the original account! If you bought xats on an alternate account and are worried that they'll be held or anything, you have no reason to worry. Once your main account is unheld (and rid of error 55), you can transfer the xats/powers that you bought with your paysafecard onto your main account and they'll be ready to use!

  15. If I had to guess, the reasoning for them being "buried" was because of how many vulgur people visit the chats each day. Both chats are unmoderated, leading to anyone being able to say anything they wish. This probably doesn't give xat a good image if they post those chats right front and center on their website, full of people swearing their heads off and flaming everyone in sight. However, this is how these chatrooms were designed, to be completely unmoderated. This, and the decline in the userbase. Any users who enjoy going to flirt/lobby probably do; it's not like they're kept a secret from the xat community. They're also listed on the wiki, under xat.wiki/Chats

I would suggest buying the power and giving it a shot, and see you can do. Also make sure to read that article to see what you can and cannot do.

  19. There has been a user who has been reporting that whenever he makes a trade, the power is still displaying in his powers and on the trade application afterwards unless he refreshes the chat. It seems like the only fix he's found is actually refreshing the chat. With the rate that he trades, he says this is too tedious to do. Could this be related? Or do you think it's a seperate issue?
  20. Some investigations may take more than 1 month to complete. I wouldn't chalk it up to Volunteers being lazy, they just sometimes need more information and it may take a while to get it. It would be ideal, yes, if all users only needed to wait for one month. However, for reasons that I listed in my previous answer, this isn't always the case. Some tickets take longer than others, and some are only replied to when volunteers need more information or wish to let you know of an update. Thanks for understanding.
  21. Tickets that are sent to the Report Scam department usually require a long degree of investigation before a conclusion can be made. Sometimes, Report Scam tickets are not always answered. Usually a volunteer will contact you if they need more information, or if they've made a conclusion that they want you to know about. Please know that even if a volunteer finds evidence to take action upon another user, you may not be told. Also please note that if you were scammed, there is no guarantee that you will be refunded anything. Thanks for understanding. I would continue to wait, but just know that the ticket may be closed when the investigation ends.
  22. I would create a ticket under the department of "Lost Access", actually. The department E-mail change/hint requires you to be logged into the account that you want the email switched on. Make any new account, then open a new ticket under "Lost Access". Tell them the registered name of your account, the Identification Number, and that you've lost access to the e-mail. Also include the e-mail address that you've lost access to. (Note: Do not post it here on the forum, only in the ticket!) If you cannot remember the e-mail, the volunteers will work with you on the issue, but you need to be able to answer security questions to prove it really is your account. Please note that there is no guaruntee that they can help you if you cannot prove the e-mail and/or account was yours. You don't have to be a paid user to open a ticket in the department of Lost Access either, so don't worry about that. Also, make sure your subject is 5+ words. Good luck! Edit: (If you already have a ticket open in Lost Access, just wait for a reply! Opening threads on the forum won't speed up the answering process, you've done your part!)
  23. Is the e-mail you're trying to check for a lost password the same one that you used to register your xat account? If so, go back to that e-mail and find the confirmation link and click on it once more. Double check to make sure your account is fully registered, then try to login.
  24. Here are some tips for you: 1) Go to xat.com/login and instead of typing your USERNAME, type the E-MAIL associated with your account. Then, type your password and try to login. 2) Make sure you are typing your password correctly. Write it down and slowly type it out, remembering that it is CaSe sensitive. 3) Use this form to reset your password. I've heard that you cannot use symbols, such as ! ? & $, etc. Use a strong combo of uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as numbers. 4) Click on the confirmation link on your e-mail once more (just to confirm it worked) and try to login after doing steps 1-3.
