A shortname can be put back to sale if the owner has not been on xat for 1 year. Moreover, if a user looks for your shortname, see you've been inactive for a year and opens a ticket for it, you'll be opened a ticket too to give you a chance to answer and keep the shortname. Even if a shortname is put back to sale, the user wont lose his account. I'm not absolutely sure about it yet, different things were thought about it. I currently have no idea about the refund, could be an idea even though if you aren't for a year and you don't answer the ticket (sent to the mail assocated to your previous shortname) there is low chance you'll come back later. It can still be a way to improve it. About the old volunteers shortnames, this isn't a thin difference. Although I assume it would be really hard to survey everything user having every single shortname and so on...

It will definitely finish to destroy our eyes... Chats need some stability for readability in my opinion. PS: Well done for the preview though.

Although, I think we can vote half the time. So keep voting for a future interviewee. If the results are relevant and the user can be interviewed (i.e do not suggest lizzie), (s)he will be selected.

Misunderstood. I did what was possible to do for any user. Anyway, in my opinion that's either you're picking an external website to do internal stuff while bringing some conflict of interest between the developer(s) of the website, the volunteers and the users, either you integer it to internal stuff and it's working fine. Maybe we're expecting different xatID websites? There are trustworthy bot hosters, why not having different websites? Why would a specific user be picked while there are plenty of users? PS: This is sarcastic. I don't see how it could be ran fairly without it being ran by xat itself.

This is the best option imo. Moreover I'm pretty sure 2% would be enough to cover the cost of the project. I'm just kinda surprised on how it could be ran. Volunteers would use xat tools (verifying stolen xats) while being paid by users? I personally see in that a sort of conflict of interest, unless xat itself run it officially; I totally understand why they wouldn't add more work to their agenda without being reward though, as Brandon said.

With a middleman, you're not losing everything, and you don't have to pay 5% and that's when people use a middleman. If I were to buy/sell an ID, I would never pay other charges for that, I know I know some of my trustworthy friends would do that for free.

Then I'm against. Many middlemen do it for free, and considering the fact it would be a xat tool (volunteers would need to check the xats), it has to be free. Is this a way to help users or to make money?
