This got resolved.
The username that was being entered at the login page hadn't been registered yet. (new account)
They now have an account they can use to recover their old account.

Flake and I have a lot of history together, but I've decided the best way to explain how much he means to me is to share a gripping tale with you all...
I remember it like it was September 17th, 2006. I was casually minding my own business, when I was abruptly interrupted by a man in a police officer outfit. The man shouted, "Put your hands where I can see em'." That was the day I lost my home. I was arrested and thrown in the pen, or "ban-pool" they called it. It must have been 6 months, but it felt like a forever ban. The quality of my tallies in the jail cell degraded severely. Just when I thought all hope was lost, an explosion went off. Completely dazed and disoriented by the ringing in my ear, I slowly scanned my cell. Among the rubble was a boy with a crazed look in his eyes. I could have sworn it was Luke Cage. The boy walked up to me, and told me his name was Flake. With the jail cell busted wide open from the explosion, we walked out into the broad daylight. From that day on, I was in his debt.I will never forget what you did for me, Flake.
We'll miss you.

Took a look at your situation and it would appear you already have a support request in for getting unlocked.
The ticket was sitting in the wrong department, but I've transferred it now.
Check your email in the coming days.
When you receive a ticket reply, you will be emailed a link to your ticket as well as a copy of our response.
As a general rule of thumb, you only need one ticket per issue.
