  • Problem with the codes on nick

    The codes are being shown in nick even though that person has days and these powers. He tried deleting the codes and using them again, and even login twice and nothing. Is there an actual fix to it?


    Steps to reproduce bug: Step 1: Use codes on your nicks (can be hat or glow) Step 2: The codes show on nick even thought the user has the powers.

    Whenever he “deleted the codes and using them again”, did he delete/paste them? Or did he re-type them? 

     

    This is a semi-common problem at help, and it usually seems like RETYPING the codes and NOT COPYING/PASTING will resolve this issue (albeit, it’s still an issue).

     

    Can you contact this user and see if this helps?

    He pasted them. Now i told him to re-type them and it does work, but it would be ideal if there's an actual fix to it. Thank you!

    Does this issue happen on HTML5 or Flash? (Or both?)

     

    If it’s flash only, I think this could probaby be considered “Won’t Fix”, otherwise I agree with you.

    I haven't tested it on HTML5 yet, but I've seen some people having the same trouble while on the mobile app, so yeah.

    The issue comes from HTML5.

     

    On HTML5, we add invisible spaces in glow codes and hat codes.

     

    Whenever you relogin and go on flash, those invisible spaces will still be there and you will have to redo your codes manually without copy/paste. I had fixed that on my flash client but I doubt admins would take the time to fix it.

    Closed This record is either not considered an issue or is better suited as a suggestion. If it is an issue, it may not be reproducible.

    Won't Fix The issue will not be fixed because it is too low in priority. The issue is very minor. The resources required to fix the issue cannot justify the benefits received from fixing the issue. This means the issue is closed.
