  • Sending same smiley twice as pm

    LaFleur
    • Status: Fixed Priority: Trivial

If you send a smiley twice (or more) as pm to someone and then send a non-pm message, the message will be sent as pm instead.

So it looks like it is ignoring the second smiley for some reason and thinks that the non-pm message is a pm actually.

    • It doesn't have to be two smilies, you can also send (wink) 3,4 times w/e.
    • Only happens if it's the same smiley and without any message next to it!

    Confirmed bug.

Pretty sure it's been like this since forever. It goes for anything you send, if it's the same exact message. I think this was added to stop a user trying to spam multiple people with the same message, link, etc.

Ok that does make sense, however why would it send the non-pm message as pm then? That's still a bug then.

This doesn't only happen with smiley and it is indeed a bug

    Fix:

    FIle: main.as

Function: ProcessMessage //towards the bottom of the function
