  • Getting ranks not allowing me to type in the chat

    Whenever I am guested at a chat for being gagged or I get member, I cannot type something in the chat on mobile.

     

    I have to restart the app everytime I receive a rank. I find this bug very annoying!


    Steps to reproduce bug: Step 1. Go to any given chat room of your choice Step 2. Get any rank Step 3. Try to type something in the chat as it won't let you
    Additional information: Model of phone: Android, Moto G Play Software version number: 6.0.1 xat username: Encrypt xat ID:(68584578)

    This bug was normally fixed in the latest version.

     

    Did you update the xat app to the latest version?

    I’ve been experiencing this issue for about a week. Whenever I join the Help chat, I can only send one message, then I either need to kill and restart the app, or switch pools to type another message. I also need to do this in order to see all subsequent messages after the one I send. 

     

    iOS: 11.3.1

    Testflight xat.com app: 1.11.0 (with no option to “update”)

    iPhone 6S 

     

    I’d consider this issue to be of priority “High”

     

    EDIT: Switching from xat.com app version 1.11.0 to 1.10.3 has temporarily “fixed” the issue.

    You can download Android version 1.11.2 at the Play Store now.
