I think there is a bug on mobile that makes users gagged for no reason.

Sometimes when I am on xat.com/Help and I restart the app to see someone's ban message, I end up being gagged for no reason. However, if I stay in the chat I do not get gagged. It's only when I restart the app.

Could it be because the IP on mobile changes a lot so it looks suspicious to xat?

    I'm not sure about that.

Steps to reproduce bug: Step 1. Be a guest on a chat Step 2. Restart the app and then go back to your favorite chat Step 3. You'll be gagged for no reason

    I don't think it's a bug.

If it happens only on Help, it's most likely because stricter banning is enabled or your IP is considered as bad as you said.

Since this doesn't seem to be a bug and/or a good amount of time has passed without any further response, this will be closed.

If you'd clash into this again, feel free to open a new bug, giving as much detail as you can, including screenshots/gifs.

    Thank you!
