    Adding a message to a bug or recommending a bug comment fails with error code EX1054.

     

    Behavior: An error is experienced when attempting to add a message to a bug or when recommending a comment to a bug.

     

    Expected behavior: Bug Coordinators and other users with appropriate privileges should be able to add messages to bugs and recommend bug comments.


    Steps to reproduce bug: 1. Go to a bug report, preferably one with comments to see both issues in action. 2. Click Bug actions > Add Message. Alternatively, go to a comment and click Options > Recommend > Add Recommendation. 3. Observe that either action is unsuccessful, resulting in error code EX1054.

    I never attempted it -- I was trying to convey that I'm able to see the message form that pops up. I believe my words may have been misconstrued (perhaps I wasn't clear enough).

     

    And no, upon testing I receive the same error code mentioned above.

    Critical The issue is show-stopping, meaning that a certain feature or service is completely broken with no available workaround. The issue impacts a lot of people and requires immediate repair.

  • Status Definitions

     

    Open The issue is pending, or we are still working on the issue.

    Fixed The issue has been resolved. The fix may not be immediately noticeable and may be released in a future version or update.

    Closed This record is either not considered an issue or is better suited as a suggestion. If it is an issue, it may not be reproducible.

    Won't Fix The issue will not be fixed because it is too low in priority. The issue is very minor. The resources required to fix the issue cannot justify the benefits received from fixing the issue. This means the issue is closed.
