    @Chip Pawns in general are blurry. This will be fixed soon.

    As for blurry smilies (and pawns), this if happens if in "Settings", smilies have been set to "unanimated". This will be fixed as well at some point.

    If you use animated smilies in settings, smilies should not be blurry.

    My settings for animated smiles is ALWAYS on, ruling out that reason as to why I'm still seeing blurry smiles, aside from your point about the pawns. Yes it should be fixed soon.

    But this is what you get for using Chrome anyway.

    @Chip

    Can you tell me which OS system are you using?

    It seems I have this issue on Chrome when using Linux but not on WIndows.

    Thank you

    Update: This is happening on Windows as well by now. It could be caused by a Google Chrome / Chromium update which was rolled out slowly

    Okay, thank you.

    We have identified that it's an issue with Chrome. It seems that they have removed an element from what xat was using for smileys animations.

    A fix has been found to repair this issue but we do not have a date of when it will be fixed.
